Heather Krug

Heather Krug has spent more than 15+ years working as a business developer and master communicator providing strategic marketing, public relations and social/digital media counsel to some of the most recognized names in sports, entertainment, fitness, consumer packaged goods and technology.

She started her career as a writer and then worked for a small boutique PR agency in Manhattan.  Heather relocated to Los Angeles to work for Rogers & Cowan, one of the largest entertainment PR and marketing firms in the world.  She formed the entertainment, consumer and sports practice and grew it into one of the most profitable departments for the agency.

Heather started her own company after working for big consumer and entertainment PR firms and after managing the business for outdoor adventurer Bear Grylls and his global company Bear Grylls Ventures.

Some of her most recognized work has been: Making Al Roker and Al Roker Entertainment the face of live streaming, Creating buzz for McDonald’s with millennials, Turning Bear Grylls into a house-hold name with multiple TV shows and brands, serving as the   go-to person for sport leagues and gaming looking for coverage beyond the sports pages (NFL, World Surf League, Riot Games, NASCAR, NHL, PGA TOUR, USA Pro Challenge, MLB, IRONMAN, LA Marathon, Long Beach Marathon, USA Seven’s Rugby, NTRA, NBC Sports and more), executing numerous programs for the Coca-Cola Company, Dos Equis, and General Mills, building specific influencer programs for several clients. 

Heather isn’t all about work.  She can be found in the mountains when she isn’t devising ways for her clients to make an impact with consumers and the media.  Heather’s an ultra runner and loves long hours on a good trail. She lives by the mantra, “Life begins at the end of your comfort zone,” and, “Never, ever give up.”

Lindsay has more than a decade of online experience with a focus on digital marketing strategy, product development, and social media and has worked for top brands such as MySpace, JustFab, Future US, and Transworld Media. She believes in innovation, and is constantly keeping her fingers on the pulse of new and emerging trends in the digital marketplace. She is the Director of Operations for Social Media Club Los Angeles, a local chapter of a national non-profit dedicated to expanding digital media literacy and promoting standard technologies and best practices. In her free time she enjoys surfing, snowboarding, playing soccer, and maintaining her health and fitness blog, FitandAwesome.com
